She is survived by her three daughters, Lee Burley of Bellevue, Barbara (Frank) Young of Elmwood and Maryann Sprout of Peoria; six grandchildren, Clay (Breeannah) Burley, Sara (Sam) Vaninger, Malone Sprout, Carrie (Jeremy Armstrong) Young, Rachel (Jake McClanahan) Sprout and Travis Sprout; four great-grandchildren, Ross Burley, Callie Burley, Ava Jo Armstrong and Autumn Rose Vaninger. Also surviving are three sisters-in-law, Wanda Quine, Juanita Driscoll and Patricia Driscoll.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, Troy Sprout, and nine siblings, Daniel (Inez) Driscoll, James (Wanda) Driscoll, Elizabeth (Albert) Cooper, Raymond (Joan) Driscoll, Agnes (Donald) Falatko, Bernard Driscoll, Leo Driscoll, Edward Driscoll and infant sister, Marie Katherine Driscoll.
Catherine worked as a Nurses Aide for OSF St. Francis Medical Center for many years before retiring. She was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and attended St. Philomena Catholic Church in Peoria. Catherine took pride in caring for her home and family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She served as a room mother, a teachers aide, lunch lady and loved to attend her grandchildren's events.
Cremation will be accorded and a Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 5, 2022 with visitation from 10:00 to 10:45 prior to the service at St. Philomena Catholic Church in Peoria. Father David Richardson will officiate. Burial of the urn will follow the service at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in West Peoria.
