Rosie M. Adams, age 85, died Wednesday, December 5, 2001, at the McLaren Regional Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, December 8, 2001, at the Revival Tabernacle in Flint, Mich. Burial will be in Antioch Cemetery in Elkmont, Alabama.
She was born in Athens, Alabama on September 12, 1916 and was a resident of the Flint area since 1953, having come from Alabama and Arkansas.
She married Emmett Adams on June 5, 1930 in Alabama. She was a member of the Revival Tabernacle.
Surviving are children, Emmett J. Adams and wife Jean of Florida, Flowella Owens and husband Charles of Oklahoma, Shirley Tafoya of Mesick, Mich., Wayne Adams and wife Dorothy of Swartz Creek, John Adams and wife Joyce of Indiana, Gary Adams and wife Louise of Flint; daughters-in-law, Carol Adams of Arkansas and Gladys Adams of Mississippi; 24 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren; sister, Carrie Louise Tucker of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Emmett in 1969; and four children, J.B., Charles, and Ronnie Adams and Carolyn Cox.
