Mary Ann Kraft, age 85, of Eau Claire died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2008, at Luther Hospital in Eau Claire.

Mary Ann was born on Feb. 23, 1922, in Chippewa Falls, the daughter of Homer and Dora Badman. She lived in Wheaton Township for 20 years where she farmed with Donald E. Kraft. She married Donald on October 30, 1939, in Decorah, Iowa.

Mary Ann worked at J.C. Penny Company for many years in the drapery department, and then continued her career at Dr. La Rue's dental office until her retirement. She was a long-time member of Christ Church Cathedral.

She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Michael) Brenizer; two grandchildren, Lynda Seymour and Gary (Elizabeth) Brenizer; nine great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Benjamin, Samuel, Annie and Libby Brenizer, Stephanie, Tyler, Mikayla and Madeline Seymour; and several nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald E. Kraft; grandson, Michael R. Brenizer Jr.; sister, Sarah Krogstad; and half brothers, Roy and Lloyd Badman.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 10, 2008, at Christ Church Cathedral, with the Reverend Robert L. Rademaker officiating.

Friends may call at Fuller-Speckien-Hulke Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 4 to 7 p.m., and again at church one hour prior to service. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery in Chippewa Falls.
