Obituary
Sarah E. Brashear, was born near Westmoreland, Kansas, July 11, 1863 and passed away at her home in Rossville, Feb. 25, 1920. She was united in marriage to S. N. Brashear, July 2, 1880, and is survived by her husband and three children, George, of Rossville, Walter, of Willis and Mrs. Ella Cottle of Wamego.
Mrs. Brashear was a faithful member of the M. E. Church, also a member of the K. L. of S. and Royal Neighbor lodges of Rossville. She was always willing to do something to help others and her loss is sincerely grieved by the entire community in which she has lived for so many years. Funeral services were held at the M. E. church, Friday, Feb. 27, 1920, conducted by Rev. Hart. She was laid to rest in the Rossville Cemetery.
