Born in Easley, she was the daughter of the late James Virgil and Eva Sweet Moore. She was owner and operator of Peg's Place at Mills Mill for many years; and operated a beauty shop for more than 20 years.
Surviving are a son, Don Greene and his wife Pat; three grandchildren, Rhonda Barnes and husband Todd, John Greene and wife Linda, and Amanda Moore; and six great grandchildren and one great great granddaughter; and a sister-in-law, Irene Moore. Predeceased were two brothers, Clyde and Bill Moore.
Services will be held at New Life Baptist Church on Fri., Mar. 21. Visitation will be from 10 - 11 AM, with the service at 11 AM. Burial will follow at Greenville Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers memorials to Gentiva Hospice. Westville Funerals (864) 269-5073
