Mr. George Baillargeon, better known as Badger, died at Champlain Valley Hospital, Nov 7, 1918, aged 21 years. His wife, Ida Gebo Baillargeon, died at her home at Sailly Ave. Nov 11, 1918, aged 28 years, both dying of influenza followed by pneumonia. They leave one child, Arthur George.

Mr. Baillargeon leaves, besides his son, his parents, Mr./Mrs. Joseph Baillargeon; four sisters, Bernadette Baillargeon, Mrs. Wm. Mority, Mrs. Fred Hamel and Mrs. George Archambault of Rochester; three brothers, Earle of Watertown, NY [no other brothers are mentioned in the obit]. Plattsburgh has never witnessed a much sadder occasion than the death of both Mr. and Mrs. Baillargeon. Mr. Baillargeon was, at the time of his death, employed on the D&H as a fireman.

The remains were laid to rest in St. Peter's Cemetery.
