Mr. A. J. Barnhill, of Riverton, died, yesterday morning, from the effects of a dose of laudanum, taken with suicidal intent, on Monday night last. It is believed that the rash act was the result of a depression of spirits, caused by a disease of the eyes which threatened to result in total blindness. The unfortunate man leaves a wife and children.

Cemetery records state he was 48y and born in Kentucky. Buried in unmarked grave in Block 2 where there are hundreds of unmarked graves, as shown.
