Basketball Player. He played high school basketball for Boulder High School in Boulder, Colorado. He then went on to play basketball for Pepperdine University from 1981 to 1986. He was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the 4th round as the 77th pick in the 1986 NBA draft. He played the 1986-1987 season with the Suns before signing with the Caen Basket Calvados of France for the 1987-1988 season. He signed with the Los Angeles Clippers of the NBA for the 1988-1989 season. He played 91 games in his NBA career. After the NBA, he went on to play for the Rapid City Thrillers, Albany Patroons, La Crosse Catbirds, Miami Tropics, Carife Ferrara, Okapi Aalstar, Estudiantes de Bahía Blanca, Fórum Filatélico, and the CSP Limoges. His professional basketball playing career ended in 1998 but he went on to coach high school basketball. He was part of a basketball family that included his former wife, Lisa Harvey, who won a National Championship with Lousiana Tech and later coached as well as their daughters, Kysre Gondrezick of the WNBA and Kalabrya Gondrezick who played college basketball and son Grant Gondrezick II, who plays. He was also the brother of NBA player Glen Gondrezick and the father in law of NFL player Dwayne Haskins Jr.
