Karen Denise Herrington, 61, of Warren, Texas passed away Thursday, April 7, 2022 at her residence.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 12, 2022, from 10am-12 noon at Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.
Burial will follow at Barge Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas.
Karen was born March 25, 1961 to Tommy and Nelda Ard. She was born in Van Horn, Texas, and was a long-time resident of Warren, Texas.
A 1979 graduate of Apple Springs High School south of Lufkin, Texas, she enjoyed reading, working crossword puzzles, crocheting and playing on her computer.
Karen was preceded in death by her father, Tommy Ard and her mother, Nelda Lambert, her daughter, Sarah Beth Strong and her sister, Jana Beth Andrews.
She is survived by her husband of 31 years, Leon Herrington of Warren, niece, Heather Andrews of Warren, her nephew, James "Bubba" Andrews of Warren, great nice, Melody Moore of Warren, great nephew, Layne Elkins and great, great nephew, Waylon James Elkins, both of Kountze, Texas.
Services are under the direction of Stringer & Griffin Funeral Home in Woodville, Texas.~
