Marilyn Ann Barber, age 88, of Bryan, Texas went to be with the Lord Thursday, March 24, 2022. She was born in Cleveland, Ohio on December 20, 1933. She was married to Hal Graham Barber on August 22, 1953. Marilyn was a member of the Red Hat Society and had a passion for dancing.
She was preceded in death by her parents Clarence M. and Lillian M. (Walsh) Gilbert, loving husband of 50 years, Hal Graham Barber; sisters, Ethel Bonavich and Dorothy Demuth; and brother, Halsey Gilbert.
Marilyn leaves behind to cherish her memory her five children, Lynn Sallis and husband Cliff, Cheri Hudson and husband Jim, Hal Barber, Karen Lyons and husband Phillip and Dorothy DeHaes and husband Drew; grandchildren, Tiffany Britt and husband Russell, Nicholas Sallis and wife Sonya, Matthew Hudson, Michelle Sailer and husband David, Lisa Birkenfeld and husband Ross, Amanda Hudson, Nathan Hudson, Hanna Hanson and husband Zach and Haley DeHaes; 15 great-grandchildren extended family and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at St. Jude Catholic Church in Mansfield,TX with interment following at DFW National Cemetery.
