Kenneth Kasten, 53, of Route 1, Maribel, died Monday, March 9, 1987 as a result of a farm accident. Funeral services will be 1:30 pm Thursday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church, Maribel. Rev. Arthur Callies will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery.
Mr. Kasten was born June 16, 1933, son of the late Herbert and Norma Radue Kasten. He married the former Verna Kornowske on Nov. 27, 1954. Mr. Kasten was a charter member and past president of the Maribel Lions Club and Supervisor of the Town of Cooperstown.
Survivors include his wife, Verna; four sons, David, Daniel, Darold and Delton, all of Maribel; two daughters and a son-in-law, Karen and Larry Peterson of Oxford, Wis., and Kay Lynn of Maribel and a grandchild, Sierra Peterson.
Friends may call at Knutson Funeral Home, Denmark, after 3 pm Wednesday and after 12 noon Thursday at the church to the time of services.
