Age 79, a son of the late Alfred and Celia Spinelli Amendola. Dan had worked in maintenance and security at Shriner's Hospital for Children for 11 years, retiring in 2005. He was a member of St. Patrick Church, the Siebenbuerger Club and very much enjoyed classic cars.
Besides his parents, Dan was preceded in death by his brother, John B. Amendola.
Survivors include his significant other, Jessie Cofini Rathbun; his four children, Scott Amendola of Lexington, KY, Kim Roberts (Charles) of Richmond, KY, Toni Dyer of Smyrna, TN, and Michelle Sexton of Smyrna, TN; two sisters; Angeline Sansone of Harborcreek and Evelyn Concilla (Gerald) of Sacramento, CA; three grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
