LaVonne D. Troullier, age 83, a resident of Manitowoc, entered eternal life on Sunday, April 10, 2022 at Tender Reflections in Manitowoc with family by her side.

LaVonne was born on July 1, 1938 in Manitowoc. She was the daughter of the late Wallace and Doris Evenson Rogne. LaVonne attended Lincoln High School and graduated with the class of 1957. She was employed at the Elbow Room for 23 years as a waitress and hostess and became known as Lovie. She then worked for her sister at Rustic Touch in sales until she retired. On May 10, 1958 she married Vernon D. Troullier at St. Paul's Ev. Lutheran Church in Manitowoc. LaVonne was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was active with the Ladies Aid, volunteered at the church office, and taught Sunday School. She was also a past member of the Manitowoc Jaycettes and volunteered at Peter's Pantry. LaVonne enjoyed golfing and spending time at Friar Tuck's Restaurant with her friends after golfing. She loved to go to rummage sales and shopping, especially for her favorite holiday of the year Christmas. LaVonne enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and spending time with her grandchildren and going up north to their cottage. LaVonne and her husband Vernon would open their home for people who needed a place to stay and welcomed them with open arms for as long as they wanted to stay.

She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Vernon, four children, Jeffrey Troullier and very special friend, Julie Tisler, Whitelaw, Lisa (Bill) Witwer, Texas, Craig (Tina) Troullier, Manitowoc, and Eric (Jenny) Troullier, Cato; ten grandchildren, five great grandchildren, sister, Joanne Fote, Manitowoc; brother, Allan (Kathy) Rogne, Two Rivers; sister-in-law, Betty Rogne, Manitowoc; nieces, nephews, and loved very much by her husband Vernon's brothers and sisters and their families, along with other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Wallace and Doris Rogne, grandson, Charles Witwer, brother, Dale Rogne, and brother-in-law, Sal Fote.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 16, 2022 at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home with Rev. Zachary DeArmond officiating. Relatives and friends may call at the Harrigan Parkside Funeral Home on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. Entombment will take place on Monday at Knollwood Mausoleum. After the funeral service there will be a luncheon at the Harrigan Parkside Gathering Center located on the south property of the funeral home.
