June 14, 1935 - April 8, 2022
Kenneth A. Meade was born in Sweet Valley, PA on June 14, 1935 and passed away on April 8, 2022 in Manassas, VA at the age of 86. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette, to whom he was married for 67 years; a daughter, Jane, and her husband, Jon; a son, Mark, and his wife, Becky; four grandchildren: Josh Ulm; Greg Meade and wife, Jenni; Kelly Allen and husband, Josh; Jenna Jay and husband, Remington; and 13 great-grandchildren – Novah & Eisley Ulm; Elijah, Micah, Juliet & Noel Meade; Josiah, Gabrielle, Cadence & Lydia Allen; and Hailey, Grayson & Lincoln Jay.

Ken graduated from Eastern Christian Institute in 1955, then served as the Minister of the Church of Christ at Manor Woods for the next 45 years. He wrote over 300 articles for several publications, including Christian Standard, The Lookout, and The Restoration Herald. He served the Lord in many different ministries, including Polish Christian Ministries, Eastern Christian College, Milligan College, the Chaplaincy Endorsement Commission, Mid-Atlantic Christian Church Evangelism, and Indian Lake Christian Camp. He was on the North American Christian Convention committee for many years and was its President in 1986. He helped lead the Eastern Christian Conference in various positions for its entire 50 years. He was given honorary doctorates by Eastern Christian College and Milligan College, both in 1986.

Ken was a caring friend to everyone he met and a great encourager everywhere he went. He often told people, "Keep looking up. God is always there!" Many have said they never met anyone else like him. God has used both Ken and Jan to bless many people throughout their 67 years together.

A Celebration Service will be held at the Church of Christ at Manor Woods 5300 Norbeck Road, Rockville, MD 20853 on April 18, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. Visitation will precede the service from 9:30 to 11:00 a.m. and Lunch will follow, provided by the church. The Family will have a private Graveside Service at Parklawn Cemetery that afternoon.

Ken's service will be live-streamed at the Manor Woods YouTube channel. The link for this will be posted on the afternoon of April 17th at https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCRzmr7XCzBuJbHvvpdv3ttQ.

In lieu of flowers, Ken's family requests that donations be made to Polish Christian Ministries, 740 North Shortridge Road #19094, Indianapolis, IN 46219-9403.
