Carrie V. (Maust) Haines Gasper, 93, entered into rest on October 26, 2014 in Carlisle.
Born February 27, 1921 in Summit Mills, she was the daughter of the late Harvey Adam and Susan Elizabeth (Firl) Maust.
She was preceded in death by her husband John D. Gasper (1986); one son, Larry Haines (2003); and 14 brothers and sisters.
Mrs. Gasper was a member of Summit Mills Grace Brethren Church.
Surviving are her children: John W. Haines and wife, Pamela, Pensacola, Florida; Karen K. Bolden, Dillsburg; and Steven Gasper and wife, Amalia, Phoenix, Arizona; and daughter-in-law, Dorothy M. Haines, West Salisbury; one sister, Ruth Lepley, Canton, Ohio; seven grandchildren: Douglas Haines, David Haines, Daniel Haines, John A. Bolden IV, Kimberly Bolden, Eric Haines, Scott Haines; nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Highway, Salisbury, and one hour prior to the service, which will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, at the funeral home, with the Rev. Andrew Gannon officiating. Interment will be in the Litchy Cemetery.
