Funeral services for former Ardmore resident Ronald Lee Antwine, 50, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Ardmore. Interment will be in Clearview Cemetery. The Rev. Roy C. Johnson will officiate.

Antwine was born Sept. 17, 1949, in Ardmore, to Walter Lee and Myrtle Wilson Antwine. He died at his home in Oklahoma City Monday, Nov. 21, 1999, following a lengthy illness.

Antwine graduated from Douglass High School in 1967. He was employed by Hertz Car Rental and Evans Furniture for more than 20 years. He and the former Sandra Lawrence were married 26 years. She preceded him in death April 12, 1999. A brother, James Patton, also preceded him in death Dec. 2, 1973.

Antwine is survived by his parents, of Ardmore; two children, Kimberly and Ronald Antwine, Jr., both of Oklahoma City; two sisters, Edith Clinton and Janetta Wood, both of Omaha, Neb.; two brothers, Garry Paul Antwine and Barry Wayne Antwine, both of Oklahoma City; and five grandchildren.

Bearers will be William Allen, Larry Clemons, Jerry Biggers, David Moore, Clifford Wilson, Ralph Williams, Ruth Strong, Rose Anna Deayon, Sidney Ann Smith, Barbara Jones and Tiffany Edwards.

Services are under the direction of Kirk Dawson-Dillard Funeral Home.
