Mr. Abbott lived in Benton and West City all of his life, starting Abbott's Towing in 1977. He and his wife, Linda, retired due to health reasons. Even retired, he was a very hard worker. He enjoyed providing and caring for his family, meeting and talking to people and making new friends. He has touched many lives in town and in his travels. His favorite past time was playing cards with his friend Gerald Garrett.

Those who knew Kenny knew he was always trying to make a buck. He loved swapping, trading and selling.

He had many nicknames, including Little Pete, Mighty, Abbott the Rabbit, Big A. and Albert. His son, Ken Jr., and Elaine Hester opened Big A's in his honor.

He was a one of a kind father; he loved his children and grandchildren and he always put family first.

He was born May 31, 1942, in Logan to Pete and Lorean (Gipson) Abbott.
