Margaret Helen Panter, 94, of Fayetteville, Georgia, passed away April 17, 2022. She was born on June 29, 1927, in Parrish, Alabama, to the late James and Velma Pass.
Margaret is survived by her sons, Rusty Hamner and Steve (Jeanne) Hamner; daughter, Helen (Mike) Cox; grandchildren, Brittany (Brian) Corbin, Adam (Rachel) Ashcraft, Jonathan (Supatra) Hamner, and Lindsey (Jason) Masters; and six great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; her husband, Ralph Calvert Panter; brothers, Loel Pass, Noel Pass, Stancel Pass, and Jack Pass; and her sisters, LaRue Murphy, and Merle Lane.
The family will receive family and friends on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, at Mowell Funeral Home in Fayetteville. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 21, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Fayetteville First United Methodist Church, 175 E Lanier Ave, Fayetteville, Georgia, with Dr. Thomas Martin and James Lane officiating. Interment will follow the service at Camp Memorial Park, Fayetteville.
