Walfrid Anderson's ashes weren't buried at Lakewood.
PRINCETON - Walfrid A. Anderson, 89, died Sunday at Princeton Elim Home.
Funeral services will be 3 p.m. Wednesday at Kaun Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Dunn officiating. Burial will be in Lakewood Cemetery, Minneapolis
. Friends may call after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home in Princeton.
Mr. Anderson was born July 18, 1892, in Sweden to the late Gustav and Elizabeth Anderson and came from Sweden to Minneapolis in 1911. He married Esther Sandell May 1, 1917, in Cambridge and farmed in Wyanett Township near Princeton 50 years. He planted trees in Isanti County many years and had been a resident of Princeton for the past two years.
Survivors include his wife; son, Byron, Selma, Calif.; sisters, Olga Anderson and Anna Rask, Sweden; three grandsons and nine great-grandchildren.
