Aaron was born and raised in San Luis Obispo County, and he resided with his parents there up until at least the 1880 census. Voter records indicate he continued to live in the same county after his marriage in 1889, and up to at least 1908. His wife's family was living in Hollister during the same era, which may explain the couple's move there by the time of the 1910 census, shortly before Aaron's death in 1911.
