She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Sikeston.
She taught remedial reading and math for Sikeston Public Schools.
On Oct. 26, 1946, at Piggott, AR, she married Jesse Lee McGee, who preceded her in death on Nov. 19, 1999.
Also preceding her in death were one son, Gary McGee; her twin sister, Haley Mahar; and one grandson, Adam McGee.
Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Sandy and David Couch of Sikeston, MO; one sister, Mildren Munson of East Prairie, MO; two grandchildren; two special friends, Jackie Hayes and Edna Colbert, both of Sikeston, MO; and several nieces and nephews.
Services are scheduled for Monday at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston. The Rev. David Jackson, pastor of First Baptist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Dolan Rogers, pastor of First Baptist Church in Bertrand.
Burial will follow in the Missouri State Veterans Cemetery.
