A native of Greenville, SC; daughter of the late Lee Roy Headen (1919–1996) and Stella Louise Dove Headen (1924–1990); wife of Jack Edward Manley (1948–2015), married 1966, and David Joe Coward (1946–2023).
She filled her home with the things she loved, family, flowers, and antiques.
Also preceded in death by her brother, Thad Headen; sister, Miriam Smith, and 5 infant brothers and one sister.
Survived by her husband of 52 years, David Joe Coward; son, Joe (Debra) Coward; siblings, Anita, James, and Buddy Headen; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
