She was born in New York City on Sept 21, 1921 to Greek immigrant parents.
Taxi came to Myrtle Beach in 1957 and knew she had found paradise at her beach, 44th Ave. She loved her faith and her family. She was most proud of her children and grandchildren.
Taxi ran the gift shop at St. Andrews Catholic Church for over 30 years and was always active in many charities.
She is survived by her four children Daniel Alford (Janet), Richard Alford (Carolyn), Karen Cooke (Bobby), Jacquie Sturmer (Barry), 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 5 nieces and 2 nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Daniel Alford and son Robert Paul Alford.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 11:00 AM at St. Andrews Catholic Church. The Rite of Committal and burial will follow at Ocean Woods Memorial Cemetery.
