lyde Edward Faneuff, Jr., age 83 of Lexington, widower of Sue Walker Faneuff, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at Baptist Health Lexington. A native of Charleston, WV, Clyde was the son of the late Clyde Edward and Helen Mathis Faneuff. He was educated in Charleston schools and graduated from the University of Cincinnati with a BBA, where he was a member of Delta Tau Delta Fraternity. Clyde was employed by General Motors Corporation in various field management positions in a six-state area, retiring in Lexington. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church, playing in the orchestra. Clyde was a Scottish-Rite Mason, a member of Oleika Shriners, and Royal Order of Jesters, and served on the Board of Governors at Shriners Hospital for Children Lexington Unit "Lexington Hospital Board of Governors". Clyde was affiliated musically with the Oleika Shrine Brass Band, Oleika Notables Dance Band, Men-Of-Note, the Lexington Concert Band, and the Young at Heart Jazz Band. He is survived by: a daughter, Brenda (John) Moody of Riceville, TN; a son, Nick (Allison) Ransom of Harrodsburg; grandchildren, Chris Sledge, Matt Sledge, Megan Kirk, John Moody III, Brent Moody, Jami Wilson, Megon Knapp, and Eric Potter; and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, April 26, 2022, at Kerr Brothers Funeral Home-Harrodsburg Rd. Visitation will be 11:30-1:30 pm Tuesday at the funeral home with a Masonic Service at 1:30 pm. Entombment will be in The Lexington Cemetery Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Shriners Hospital for Children Medical Center, 110 Conn Terrace, Lexington, KY 40508.
