James N. Doud, age of 83 of Brook Park, OH and formerly of Mosheim, TN passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Beloved companion to Brenda; loving father of Timothy (Polly), Bryan (Jessica), Michael (Keely), Annemarie Hayest (Gregory), and stepdaughter, Debbie Van Aucken; devoted grandfather of Hope, Takeysha, Aaron, Joshua, Gabby, Bryan, Micayla, Grayson, and Addison; great-grandfather of many; dear brother of Samuel, Joseph, Naomi, and Nancy; uncle, cousin, and friend to many. Preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Manilla Doud (nee Banks); siblings, George, Ken, and Bonnie; and son, James N. Doud, Jr.

James was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He retired from the Ford Motor Company and enjoyed the casino in his spare time, especially "playing the ponies."

In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial contributions in his name to the Alzheimer's Association, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.

Family will receive friends for a memorial visitation with Army military honors at the Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Rd., Parma, OH 44129.
