Beloved companion to Brenda; loving father of Timothy (Polly), Bryan (Jessica), Michael (Keely), Annemarie Hayest (Gregory), and stepdaughter, Debbie Van Aucken; devoted grandfather of Hope, Takeysha, Aaron, Joshua, Gabby, Bryan, Micayla, Grayson, and Addison; great-grandfather of many; dear brother of Samuel, Joseph, Naomi, and Nancy; uncle, cousin, and friend to many. James was a proud U.S. Army veteran. He retired from the Ford Motor Company and enjoyed the casino in his spare time, especially "playing the ponies."
