Gail A. Hawks, loving sister and aunt, passed away on March 22,2022 at the age of 71 from heart complications. She was born on October 18, 1950 to Harold Clyde and Doris(Oakley) Hinkley in Margaretville, New York. Gail grew up in upstate New York and graduated from Grand Gorge Central School in 1968. She then attended and graduated from Albany Business College. Gail's career began with U-Haul and Rich Engineering Firm, where she met and married her late husband Dennis Hawks. While working with this engineering firm, they traveled throughout the country until Dennis' death in 1995. Gail settled in Joliet, Illinois and later returned to New York state in the early 2000's reconnecting with her family. Gail being a people person, later worked at Price Chopper in Clifton Park part time, until she relocated to be much closer to her family.

Gail is survived by her two sisters, Dale Ingraham (Tom) of Arizona, Sherry Williams (the late Harold Williams) of Delmar, NY, Niece, Christie Price (David) of California, Nephew, Derrick Hinkley of Arizona, Great Nephew, Timothy and Great Niece, Taylor Hinkley; and Great Great Niece Ava to whom she was greatly devoted. And to many cousins to name.
