She married Henry Johnson in Kentucky on March 28, 1816.

From the book "Documents and Biographies Pertaining to the Settlement and Progress of Stark County, Illinois" 1887
p. 692 Biographies and Reminiscences: Levi Johnson, a native of New York, was born Oct. 13, 1769. He followed the occupation of a millwright. He married Hannah Russ who was born December 18, 1770. Her father, Abraham Russ, was murdered by the Indians on the Allegheny River, March 2, 1790. He (Levi Johnson) was the father of 5 children, 3 boys and 2 girls. Henry, the eldest of these, was born Jan. 9, 1793. He learned his father's trade. When Henry was about 17, he moved to Kentucky with his parents, enlisted during the War of 1812, but on account of a wound on his arm caused by the slipping of a hand ax, he was rejected. On March 28, 1816, he married Mary, daughter of Amaziah Davidson, born in Kentucky September 14, 1799. (Her tombstone says she was born Feb. 14) Her parents were Scotch who came to America and settled in Kentucky , as companions of Daniel Boone. In 1827, Henry and Marey settled in Pike county, Illinois, but on account of some troublesome Indians, they were compelled to return to Kentucky. In 1830 they braved the dangers of frontier life and returned to Pike county, where he followed his trade of millwright. Here on Sept. 11, 1846, Mrs. Johnson died in her 47th year. In 1851 Mr. Johnson settled near the place where the village of Sparland, Marshall county, now stands. In 1865, he came to Stark County, where he died September 17, 1878, in the 86th year of his age."

She was the mother of Anna, Hiram, Margaret A., Jessie D., Hannah, Joseph, Sarah Jane, Andrew Jackson, Elvira, Amy & Lafayette.
