Revie was born near Diagonal, Iowa to Joseph F. and Fairy H. (Jones) Bata. She was also welcomed by an older sister Louise and later Joined by sister Donna. Revie passed away at Clearview Nursing Home in Mount Ayr, Iowa.
Revie, as she was fondly known to most, grew up in the Diagonal community, attending the local high school where she was active in sports.
She was blessed with two sons Steve and David.
Revie lived for a time in Humboldt and Kansas City before returning back to Diagonal and worked for a number of years at Bunn in Creston. She owned and operated Revie's Bar and Grill in Diagonal until her health forced her to retire. She had many faithful customers during her yeas at Revie's, people came for miles around for one of her handmade breaded loins. The Taylor Reunion was always on on the highlights of the year.
Revie enjoyed gardening and the Kansas City Chiefs was one of her favorites. Buts Sundays were always reserved for family day, she loved each of her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Revie was a favorite at Clearview Nursing Home and we all loved her dearly. She could always be found with a Coke in her hand and a frig full at all times.
