Mrs. Pauline C. Falchek, 50, of 221 Augusta Street, Wilkes-Barre Township, died Monday night at 11:40 at Nesbitt Memorial Hospital, Kingston, when she was admitted seven hours earlier. Mrs. Falchek was stricken with a heart attack while at work at Landau's Furniture Store on South Main Street.
She was born in Wilkes-Barre, a daughter of Mrs. Helen Slaninka Brisnock and the late George Brisnock. Mrs. Falchek was a member of St. Mary's Church, Park Avenue, and was active in its affairs. She was chairman of the Playground Association of Wilkes-Barre Township.
Mrs. Falchek attended city schools. was a graduate of Coughlin High School and later attended Wilkes-Barre Business College. She had been employed as a sales clerk at Landau's the past 30. years.
Also surviving besides her mother are her husband Leo B,; sisters Mrs. Stanley Hodakowski, Mrs. Stanley Patycula and Mrs. Edward J. Einowski, all of Detroit; Mrs. Joseph E. Check and Misses Mary and Margaret Brisnock, all of Wilkes-Barre.
The funeral will be held from the funeral home, 592 North Main Street, Friday at 9 a. m. with a Requiem Mass at 9:30 in St. Mary's Church. Burial in parish cemetery, Wyoming. Friends may call 2 to 5 and 7 to 10.
