Mary Lee Shelton Sluder of 97, Alexander, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2006, at John F. Keever Solace Center.
A native of Madison County, she lived in Buncombe County most of her life and was a daughter of Ben and Lily Rector Shelton. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth F. Sluder, who died in 1998; sisters, Magdeline Candler and Cumi Meadows; brothers, Clarence, Hubert, Wade, Clyde, Ed, Monroe and Ellis Shelton.
She retired from Square D in 1987.
