Florence Rocksy Featherston Long was the daughter of Thomas Mitchell Featherston and Maranda Jennette Terrell Featherston, she was one of 11 children being the next to the last. She was called Rocksy by all who knew her.

According to a burial book for this cemetery, as read by Tim Hammill, her name was spelled "Rocky"
