Linda Bradley, 76, of Ottawa, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, April 23, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Linda's life will be held later at Dengel & Son Mortuary, Ottawa

Linda was born April 4, 1946, at Windsor, Missouri, the daughter of Russell and Gladys Cordelia (Caldwell) Loding.

She grew up in Windsor, moving to Sedalia, Missouri where she lived 5 years. In the late 1970's, Linda moved to Ottawa, where she made her home until her death.

She graduated from Windsor High School with the Class of 1964.

On February 14, 1966, Linda was united in marriage to James G. "Jim" Bradley in Windsor. They were happily married 56 years and had two children, Angela and Andrew.

Linda was employed as a legal secretary in Warrensburg, Missouri, from 1964 to 1966; Jordan Law Office from the early 1980's to 1998; and secretary at Dengel & Son Mortuary from 1998 until her retirement in May 2012.

She was a former member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Ottawa.

Linda also lovingly referred to as "Grammy" always looked for ways to help others. Grammy was a kind, caring, and generous woman who loved being with her close friends and family. Her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren were the joy of her life. Grammy enjoyed bird watching, feeding the squirrels, and nature. Grammy touched the lives of her family and friends and will be deeply missed and remain in our hearts and thoughts forever.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her husband Jim Bradley of the home; children, Angela (Guy) Hampton of Omaha, Nebraska and Andrew Bradley of Ottawa; sister Della Fritz of Independence, Missouri; four grandchildren, Austin Bradley of Ottawa, Cordelia (Tyson) Trabing of Dickinson, North Dakota, Annalynne Bradley of Shawnee, Kansas, and Levi Bradley of Ottawa; four great grandchildren, Kalina Trabing, Jolene Lou Bradley, Sterling Trabing, and Huntlee Trabing; and several nieces and nephews.

The family suggests memorial contributions to Franklin County Cancer Foundation c/o Dengel & Son Mortuary, 235 S. Hickory, Ottawa, Kansas 66067.
