GLORIA JILL ABBOTT, 18, died Thursday in Fort Wayne. Born in Fort Wayne, she was a 2002 graduate of Huntington North High School and worked at Yankee Candle in Fort Wayne. She belonged to the Drama Clubs at the high school and 4 Leaf Clovers Club of 4-H in Huntington. She also sang with her sisters, "The Abbott Sisters, " throughout the area. Surviving are her parents, James Scott and Joan C. Snyder Abbott of Roanoke; four sisters, Jessica Abbott, Julie Abbott, Janna Abbott and Jamie Abbott, all of Roanoke; and her grandfather, Richard G. Abbott of Fort Wayne. Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Roanoke. Calling from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, Huntington, with rosary at 7 p.m. Burial in the church cemetery. Memorials to Huntington County Right to Life or Masses in care of the funeral home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.

Jill had a beautiful voice that could bring a smile to your face, even on your darkest day. She will forever be missed by her family and friends.
