Donald Richard "Dickie" Donley, 76, of Princeton died Thursday, December 24, 2020 at his residence. Born February 12, 2944 in Princeton he was the son of the late Carl and Elsie Donley. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Donley; one son, Richard "Ricky" Donley; and one brother, Glenn Donley. Donald was a retired journeyman baker having work at several places in the United States including Lloyds Bakery in Princeton. He was a member of both the Elks and Moose clubs in Princeton. He is survived by one son, Kenny Donley and wife Denise of Surfside, SC; one daughter, Stephanie Shelton and husband Alan of Rock, WV; two grandchildren, Lexi Matthews and husband Joey, and Cassie Collins and husband Jon Michael; six sisters, Sylvia Phillips of OK, Shirley Thomas and husband Benton of MO, Wilma Finn of VA, Nancy Larue and husband Larry of Princeton, Rebecca Honeycutt and husband Bill of Salem, VA, and Alleta Aboulhosn and husband Samir of NJ; and three brothers, Carl Donley of MD, Frederick Donley and wife Sue of MD, and Clyde Donley and wife Carla of Princeton. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Sunday, January 3, 2021 at Seaver Funeral Home in Princeton with Reverend Larry Dyer and Pastor Blake Bivens officiating. Friends may call at the funeral home from 3:00 PM until the service hour on Sunday.
