T. Granahan

Thomas P. Granahan, 308 Crown Avenue, died Monday, November 7, 1983, at his home following an illness. His wife was the former Clare Genardi.
Bom in Taylor, son of Mrs. Mildred Kelly Granahan, Scranton, and the late Thomas Granahan.
He resided in Old Forge before moving to this city in 1947. He was a 1950 graduate of South Scranton Catholic High School and was an Air Force veteran. He was employed as a truck driver for DeFazio Express Co., Moosic, and was a member of Local 229 of the Teamsters Union, the Nativity Social Club and Nativity of Our Lord Church.
Also surviving were four daughters. Mrs. William (Debbie) Clark, Scranton; Cathy Granahan, Glenside; Mary Jo and Juliann, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Marie Roden. Monticello, N.Y.; two grandchildren and several cousins.
His funeral was from Durkan-Cuff-Kearney Funeral Home, 125 N. Main Avenue, with Mass of Christian Burial in Church of the Nativity.
Interment was in Cathedral Cemetery.
