Sandra S. Yelmene, age 83, of Two Rivers, died unexpectedly Monday night, May 2, 2022 at Holy Family Memorial Medical Center, Manitowoc, with her loving family by her side.

Sandra was born on December 17, 1938, in Peru, Indiana, a daughter of the late Glen and Sylvia (Derringer) Henry. Sandra graduated with the Class of 1956 from Peru High School. She was the office manager for Dr. Judy Krings for 26 years, retiring in 2000. She cherished the time she spent with her family and friends, enjoyed traveling, Sandy visited England, France, Switzerland, Italy Egypt, Mexico, Canada and many states. She loved adventures of all sizes, including skydiving, driving in a powder puff stock car race, and piloted a plane ten times, just to name a few.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law: Rhonda (Steve) Lonzo of Two Rivers, Marna Nejedlo (fiancé', Gary Gauthier) of Sturgeon Bay, Kym (Tim) Ahrens of Manitowoc and Renee (Doug) Wegner of Two Rivers; son and daughter-in-law: Vance (Karen) Yelmene of Manitowoc; grandsons: Kyle Lonzo, Justin Lonzo (fiancé', Janine), Craig (Whitney) Lonzo, James (Amanda) Staab, Robert (Lauren) Staab, Justin (Kendra) Ahrens and Ian (Greta) Lawler; great grandsons: Thomas and Sawyer and great granddaughters: Sophie, Willow and Hayden. She is further survived by a brother: Bobby Crane; sisters: Carol (Sam) O'Quinn and Glenda (Bill) Williams; good friends: Marge Burgett, Doug Kennedy, Debbie DeTroye, Mark Wargin and Vicki Gilbert; along with nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her sisters: Pat, Mary Jane and Beverly; brother-in-law: Charles Burns; sister-in-law: Roberta Crane and close friends: Clete and Judy Shaw, Mars Petkevicius and Cindy Kennedy.

A memorial service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday, May 6, 2022, at Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church, 2140 34th St., Two Rivers. Officiating at the service will be the Rev. Keith Tullberg, with the placing of her urn to be held at a later date at Knollwood Chapel Mausoleum, Hwy 310, Manitowoc.

The family will greet relatives and friends at the church on Friday afternoon, May 6, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service at 3:00 p.m.
