Surviving are one daughter. Mrs. Gilbert (Marian) Neu of Springfield; one son, Robert C., of San Fernando, Calif.; five grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Grace Ferguson of Corona, Calif.
He was a member of the Frist Christian Church, Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 137 and Tyrian Lodge 333 AF&AM.
Born in Springfield, Mr. Kibele was the son of Frederick and Ellen Whittle Kibele. He was married to Grace Clark and she preceded him in death May 6, 1973. For 30 years, Mr. Kibele was employed by the Illinois Division of Architects and Engineers and in the Plummer's Maintenance Division for the secretary of state.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Staab Funeral Home with Dr. Beryl S. Kinser officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery.
