James Donald "Jim" Truslow, 84, of Nellysford, passed away on Thursday May 5, 2022 at the University of Virginia Medical Center.
Mr. Truslow was born on May 11, 1937 in Nellysford, and was a son of the late Maury and Louise (Thompson) Truslow.

He worked for GE/Genicom for more than 30 years. Jim later owned and operated Lincoln Log Homes of Virginia. He greatly enjoyed his work as a contractor. He also enjoyed traveling with his wife. Jim was a longtime member of the Mountain View Mennonite Church.

On February 28, 1958 he married the former Twilla Jean Campbell who survives.

In addition to his wife, Jim is survived by his children, Darlene Kaye Aldridge, Geoffrey Truslow, Gregory Truslow, all of Nellysford; a sister, Doris Drumheller of Lovingston; a granddaughter, Ashley Jean Aldridge; and two great-grandchildren, Michael and Lexi.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 11, 2022, at 11 AM, at the Mountain View Mennonite Church with Revs. Wills Kitchen and Dennis Hatter officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday evening from 6 until 8 PM at the Waynesboro Chapel of Reynolds Hamrick Funeral Homes. In lieu of flowers, the family requests all memorial contributions be made to the Mountain View Mennonite Church, C/O the Building Fund, P.O. Box 208, Lyndhurst, VA 22952; or to the Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center, 1240 Lee St., Charlottesville, VA 22903. Please Indicate Donations in Honor of James Donald Truslow in the Memo Line.
