Mildred "Christine" Collier, age 82, of Milton, Florida went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, February 02, 2022. She was born on September 30, 1939 in Smith CO Tennessee to Robert and Laura Bennett and was the youngest of twelve children.
Christine met and married her husband, James Collier, in 1959. After marrying, the couple moved from Tennessee to Milton, Florida. Christine worked with her mother-in-law, who was known to everyone as Granny, in their private home daycare. Christine was a huge influence on many children in the area, leaving a lasting impression even into their adult years.
Christine always displayed a loving, sweet and silly spirit. She enjoyed watching game shows, spoiling her grandchildren, eating Little Debbie cakes and going to yard-sales.
To cherish her memory, Christine leaves behind James Clifford Collier, her husband of 62 years; Steve Collier (Cindy), her son; her two daughters Teresa Johnson (Colin) and Donna Kerr (Mark), six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jeremy Levi, Ryan Whitman, Jerry Collier, Billy Collier, Jeff Floyd, and Grady Hester.
The funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 05, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. at National Cremation and Burial Society on Highway 90 in Milton, Florida with Pastor Mike Wiggins officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service. Interment will follow at Serenity
