Jacqueline Rae Bellstedt Las Vegas, Nevada Jacqueline "Jacqui" Rae Bellstedt, 19, of Las Vegas, Nevada, and formerly of Herkimer, passed away unexpectedly January 2, 2008, due to injuries sustained from the result of a motor vehicle accident. Jacqui was born on November 12, 1988, in Ilion, NY, the daughter of Shari J. Pizer and Walter Bellstedt. Jacqui began her schooling in Herkimer and then moved to Las Vegas where she was a graduate of Bonanza High School, Class of 2006, with high honors. She was beginning her final semester of her sophomore year at University of Nevada Las Vegas, where she was taking diverse classes to determine her career path. While attending school full time, she also was employed full time at Fabulous Freddie's, where Jacqui was a fabulous ticket taker but also filled in wherever she was needed. Jacqui was a free spirit, full of life and vitality. She was confident in the paths she chose for herself and was open to anything life brought her way. Jacqui enjoyed everything the world had to offer and everyone she encountered. She had a great passion for living life to the fullest. Jacqui always found a bright side to every moment in life and always was smiling and laughing. Jacqui was a warm, kind hearted and generous person. She was loved by all whose lives she touched but her brother Matt "Ruled". She was an amazing daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, great-niece, cousin and friend. Her family feels so blessed to have these very special years and will forever feel her spirit, light and laughter in their hearts. Jacqui had a very special and deep relationship with her mother both as a daughter and a confidant. All of her family and friends will greatly and sadly miss Jacqui forever. Jacqui is survived by her parents, Shari Pizer and Steven Baker of Las Vegas, NV; her brothers, Brian Pizer of Denver, CO, and Matthew Bellstedt of Las Vegas, NV; her father, Walter Bellstedt of Utica; her grandparents, Ronald and Sharon Pizer of N. Ilion and Mable Baker of Richfield Springs; her aunts and uncles, Judi and David Laymon, Scott J. and Adrienne Pizer, Robert and Karen Bellstedt, Lawrence and Pamela Bellstedt, Karl and Shirley Bellstedt, Michael and Christine Baker, Chris and Sue Boss, Karen Rice and Suzanne Rice; her cousins, Jonathan and Jordan Laymon, Alyvia Pizer, Kristina, William, Bradley, Casie and Kaleigh Bellstedt, Jessica, Karen and Michael Bellstedt, Janet Bellstedt, Jonathan Boss, Christian Schaefer and Kimberly Baker; her great aunts, great uncles and all the rest of the family. She also leaves behind many very special friends, including Royel, Amber, Deanna, Rowena, Arturo, Lindsey and Taylor. Jacqui was predeceased by her grandmothers, Marla Pizer, Linda Pizer and Janet Bellstedt. Her funeral services will be 12 Noon, Tuesday, January 8, 2008, from Temple Beth Joseph, 327 N. Prospect Street, Herkimer, with Cantor Kal Socolof officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 AM, Tuesday, until the time of the services at Temple. Interment will be made in Temple Beth El Cemetery, Wood Rd., Whitesboro. Calling hours will be 4-7 PM, Monday, January 7, 2008, at Whiter-Hendrix Funeral Home, Inc., 100 Otsego Street, Ilion. Shiva will be observed at the home of Ronald and Sharon Pizer in N. Ilion from.7-9 p.m., Tuesday through Thursday, with Minyan services at 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Jacqui's memory may be offered to the Jacqueline Rae Bellstedt Memorial Scholarship Fund at the University of Nevada Las Vegas in c/o Jacobson-Pizer Funeral Chapel, Inc., 1123 Court Street, Utica, NY 13502.
