Sharon Lea Bowling, 64, of Sharps Turn Road, Princeton, died Monday, September 13, 2021 at Princeton Community Hospital. Born December 27, 1956, in Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Tommy Eugene Sisk and Dixie Law Sisk. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, aunt and friend. She enjoyed being outdoors, especially planting her flowers and loving her dogs. Sharon was instrumental in completing the project to locate the Gold Star Monument in Mercer County in honor of her son, Lance Cpl. Juston Tyler Thacker. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving son, Marine Lance Cpl. Juston Tyler Thacker. Left to cherish her memory are her loving husband Gregory Bowling; Loving sister, Genia Meadows and husband Kenneth; Two loving nephews, Park and wife Erin and Lucas. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, September 20, 2021, at Roselawn Memorial Gardens with pastor Jim Simmons officiating. Those attending the services are requested to meet at the funeral home no later than 1:45 P.M. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
