Born in Macomb, Illinois, Mrs. Sturm was a resident of Central Florida since 1966. She was a member of the College Park United Methodist Church, Orlando; a life member of the Retired Officers Wives Club, participating in the club's bowling league as well as other bowling leagues; Life Member of DAV Auxiliary, Chapter #16; enjoyed fishing, ship cruises and was an avid University of Florida Gator Fan.
Survived by her husband of 66 years, LTC Charles E. "Chick" Sturm; a son, Robert H. "Bob" Sturm, Gainesville, FL; daughter and son-in-law, Constance L. "Connie" and Michael J. McKie, Orlando; grandson, Christopher T. McKie, Orlando. She was preceded in death by her son, Richard F. "Rick" Sturm.
