He was a life resident of the Syracuse area.
Mr. Abbott was employed for 34 years by the U.S. Postal Service
and at the time of his death was working at the main post office on
Taft Road. Mr. Abbott was a member of ABATE Club.
He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Surviving are a brother, John R. of Syracuse; three nieces, Patricia
Abbott, Barbara Stapleton and Joan Booth, all of Syracuse; and
two nephews, John T. and William J. Abbott, both of Syracuse.
