Edith R Burdine, 85, of 2201 Cason Street, died Jan 19. She was born on Dec 27, 1914, in Indianapolis, and was a lifetime resident of Lafayette. She married Raymos Burdine and he preceded her in death in 1976. Mrs Burdine was a homemaker. She is survived by four sons, Robert Burdine of West Lafayette, Bill Burdine of Texas, Raymond Burdine of Fort Wayne and Mark Smith of Dayton; a sister, Norma Jean of Phoenix, AR; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a daughter, E Carol Hubbard. Soller-Baker Funeral Home handled arrangements with the Rev Fields officiating. Interment Rest Haven Memorial Park
