Richard J. Murin, age 76, of Merrillville, formerly of Whiting, passed away on Friday, June 11, 2004. Survived by son James (Theresa) Murin of Bloomington, Minnesota. Preceded in death by his wife Mayme Murin and parents Joseph and Jennie Murin. Mr. Murin was a member of Our Lady of Consolation Church and a former member of St. John the Baptist Church in Whiting. He was a World War II Army veteran and a retired employee of Amoco Oil Company with 44 years of service. He was a graduate of Clark High School, class of 1945.
