Douglas Harvey Clark, C.M. recipient of the Order of Canada, peacefully passed away in Ottawa surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, December 18, 2001, at the age of 76 years.

Beloved husband of Bonney (nee White). Dear father of Wendy (Rev. Dr. Anthony Bailey), Heather (Dr. Matthew Faris), Andrew (Patricia Lindsey) and Dr. Carolyn Clark. Also loved by his nine grandchildren; Chania, Michelle, Kristen and John Bailey; Samuel, Ethan and Hannah Faris; Benjamin and Nicholas Lindsey-Clark. Dear brother of Dr. Robert M. Clark of Vancouver. Beloved uncle of Rob, Hilary, Alison, Rosalyn and Jeremy Clark of Vancouver.

Douglas had a distinguished career with the Federal Department of Finance for 44 years and was a devoted member of Rideau Park United Church.

Friends may visit at the Central Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 315 McLeod Street on Wednesday and Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Rideau Park United Church, 2203 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa on Friday at 11 a.m. Interment Beechwood Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy memorial contributions to the Mission and Service Fund of the United Church of Canada in care of Rideau Park United Church or to the North Street United Church Development Project, Kingston, Jamaica payable to Rideau Park United Church would be appreciated by the family.
