Services Set for J.P. Aaron, 81, Former County Tax Office Chief
Masonic memorial services for John Pat Aaron, former manager of the Broward County tax assessor's office, are scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday at Lauderdale Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Mr. Aaron, 81, died April 24 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Dublin, Ga. Mr. Aaron lived in Fort Lauderdale for 23 years, from 1950 until 1973. Fr. 1965 to 1969, he managed the tax assessor's office. Before moving to Broward County, he was secretary to Michigan Gov. Harry Kelly. Survivors include two brothers, Will H. of Cartersville, Ga, and Charles C. Aaron of McKeesport, Pa. Funeral arrangements were made by the Baird-Case West Broward Funeral Home.
