A friend once described William Shean, as "A fine and handsome, silver tongued Irishman, who could sell you your own shirt buttons, and make you so glad you'd bought them, you'd order more!"

Williams family were dairy farmers, but William discovered that he had an entrepreneurial gift for sales, loved people, and travel, and designed his life and career to make the most of these gifts.

The bronze baby shoes on your moms bookcase were among Williams innovations, as were advertising hand fans (remember those from church?) and advertising on paper place-mats in restaurants!
