Marriage record from Rootsweb: J.D. Greenwade married Nannie M. Blake age 22 on October 6, 1878 in Spadra, Los Angeles Co., CA. Nannie M. was born in Texas. The following note is from contributor remark47: "Nancy's maiden name was Eads. She was the daughter of Richard Eads and Rachael Harris Eads. Her first husband was George S Blake (1843-1877), who she married 23 Oct 1872 at age 17 in Spadra (now Pomona), Calif. She then married her second husband Jefferson Davis Greenwade on 6 Oct 1878, after the death of George Blake. That explains her last name being Blake on the marriage certificate when she married Jefferson Greenwade."
