Joey D. Lassiter, 66, of Lucama, died Tuesday, May 17, 2022.

Funeral, Friday, 3:00 PM, Aycock Cemetery, Aycock Crossing Rd, Lucama.

Surviving his wife, Cindy Holland Lassiter; daughters, Melissa Honea (Tim) of Sanford, Amanda Lassiter of Rockingham, Nicole Holland of Bend, OR; grandchildren, Payton and Bryson Bullard and Alyssa and Aiden Seerley; sisters, Daphne Clemmons (Mike) and Donna Prince (Sue Greene) all of Shallotte; nieces, Jade Prince and Amber Mead (Alex); cousin, Vicky Covington; his puppies, Buddy & Maizey.

He was a native of Richmond County and had worked in quality control in the aerospace industry. Many may remember his interest in CB Radios.

Pa was so smart and could fix anything! He saved us so much money fixing things around the house. He was very loving and sentimental, much more than I. He loved for me to hug him and he would stop whatever he was doing to receive a hug and hug me back.
